Effective August 18, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using CRTIK and the responsibilities shared by you and CRTIK LLC.
Please read them before creating an account or using the service.
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and CRTIK LLC, a Florida limited liability company. By creating an account or accessing CRTIK, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CRTIK.
You must be at least 16 years old to use CRTIK. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or parental consent for an online service, you may use CRTIK only if you satisfy those requirements. You may not use CRTIK if we previously suspended or terminated your account for violating these terms.
You must provide accurate registration information, keep it current, maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Usernames must not impersonate others, violate rights, or mislead people about affiliation.
CRTIK lets people discover, rate, review, rank, discuss, and track media. Features, catalog coverage, scores, availability, and eligibility may change. We may add, modify, limit, or discontinue any part of the service and do not promise that CRTIK will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant CRTIK LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote CRTIK in accordance with your visibility settings. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for reasonable backup, safety, moderation, legal, and evidentiary retention.
You choose among available public, followers, and private visibility settings. You understand that public content may be viewed, indexed, copied, quoted, or shared by others beyond our control. Followers-only and private settings limit display within CRTIK but do not prevent processing needed for service delivery, trust and safety, legal compliance, or enforcement.
You may not use CRTIK to:
We may review reports and content, but we are not obligated to monitor everything. We may label, limit visibility, remove content, restrict features, preserve evidence, warn users, or suspend or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these terms, protect safety or rights, comply with law, or maintain the service. To request review of a moderation decision, use the instructions provided with the decision or contact legal@crtik.com.
CRTIK’s software, branding, design, and original materials are owned by CRTIK LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. Do not copy or use them except as these terms allow. If you believe content on CRTIK infringes your rights, send a detailed notice identifying the work, the disputed material and location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and your signature to legal@crtik.com. This address is not represented as a registered DMCA agent.
CRTIK displays media titles, artwork, release details, provider availability, critic or community scores, and other information supplied by third-party catalogs and services. That information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or subject to separate rights and terms. External links and services are controlled by their operators, not CRTIK LLC. CRTIK does not endorse or guarantee third-party content, products, or availability.
If you voluntarily send ideas or feedback about CRTIK, you grant CRTIK LLC permission to use it without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your reviews, lists, posts, or other user content.
You may stop using CRTIK at any time and may request account closure through Contact. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, legal or security risk, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, licenses for retained copies, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law—will survive.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRTIK is provided “as is” and “as available.” CRTIK LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Ratings, reviews, rankings, consensus scores, recommendations, release dates, and provider information are opinions or informational signals, not professional advice or guarantees.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRTIK LLC and its members, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from CRTIK. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid CRTIK LLC for CRTIK during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so those limits apply only to the extent permitted.
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CRTIK LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your misuse of CRTIK, or your violation of these terms or another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from CRTIK LLC’s own unlawful conduct.
Florida law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Florida, and you and CRTIK LLC consent to those courts. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date; continued use after the effective date means you accept the revision where permitted by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. Questions and legal notices may be sent to legal@crtik.com.
