This Privacy Policy describes how CRTIK LLC handles personal information when you use CRTIK.
By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described below.
CRTIK LLC is a Florida limited liability company and operates CRTIK. In this policy, “CRTIK,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CRTIK LLC.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use crtik.com, a CRTIK account, or related support and moderation services. It should be read with our Terms of Use.
We collect the information needed to operate a media-ranking community, including:

We use information to create and secure accounts; display and personalize CRTIK; save reviews, lists, ratings, and tracking progress; calculate community and consensus signals; deliver search, discovery, notifications, and realtime updates; respond to support requests; prevent abuse; enforce our rules; investigate reports; maintain and improve performance; comply with law; and protect users, CRTIK, and others.
Your visibility choices affect who can see your content. Public content can be seen by anyone. Content set to “followers” can be seen by permitted followers. Private content is limited to your account, except when access or processing is reasonably necessary for service operation, safety, moderation, security, or legal compliance. Search engines and people who copy or share public content may retain it after you change a setting or remove it.
CRTIK uses essential cookies and similar storage to authenticate you, maintain sessions, protect forms, and remember necessary settings. If our production Google Analytics integration is enabled, Google may process usage data and use cookies or similar identifiers to help us understand aggregate site activity. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or other features from working. CRTIK does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
We rely on vendors that process information for us under their own security and privacy commitments. Supabase provides authentication, database, realtime, and file-storage infrastructure. Hostinger hosts the application. Google Analytics processes usage information only when the production analytics integration is enabled. Media catalog providers may receive search terms or media identifiers when needed to return title data.
We disclose information to service providers that help operate CRTIK; according to your chosen visibility settings; when you direct us to share it; to investigate abuse or protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or when required by law or valid legal process. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide CRTIK, maintain account and community records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal obligations, and preserve backups. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Some public content, moderation records, aggregated data, and backup copies may remain after account closure where permitted or required.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting access to your email and devices, and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You can edit available profile and visibility settings in CRTIK and choose what you publish. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information. To submit a privacy request, email legal@crtik.com. We may verify your identity and may deny or limit a request where the law allows.
To request account deletion, email legal@crtik.com from the address associated with your account. We will explain any verification steps and process the request subject to legitimate retention needs, including security, moderation, legal, and backup obligations.
CRTIK is intended only for people who are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a person under 16 has provided information to CRTIK, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
CRTIK and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. By using CRTIK, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to protections required by applicable law.
We may update this policy as CRTIK changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions, privacy requests, and legal notices may be sent to legal@crtik.com. General product support is available through our Contact page.
